AutoDB offers professional vehicle databases (cars, motorcycles, motorhomes, commercial vehicles). This data is designed for developers and businesses who want to integrate vehicle brand and model information into their applications.
Our databases are ideal for application developers, automotive comparison websites, dealerships, insurers, classified ad platforms, and any business requiring structured vehicle data.
Data
Each database is provided in two formats: JSON (ideal for web and mobile applications) and CSV (compatible with Excel, SQL databases, etc.). Both formats contain exactly the same data.
Each database has three levels: brands, models and type-approved variants (one row per Swiss type approval). For each variant: power (hp/kW), torque, displacement, fuel, gearbox, drive type, top speed, CO₂, consumption, energy label, curb and gross weight, dimensions, wheelbase, seats, doors, towing capacity, approved tyre and rim sizes, VIN prefix and approval dates. The data comes from the official Swiss type approvals (FEDRO/ASTRA) from 1985 to today and covers the whole European market. A data dictionary and a detailed README are included.
Yes, we regularly update our databases to include new models. Customers receive free annual updates by email. If you need more frequent updates, contact us for a customized offer.
Yes. Every product page offers a free downloadable sample (ZIP with real variants in JSON and CSV, the README and the data dictionary) with exactly the structure of the full database. The pages also show a JSON preview and a table.
Payment & License
It's a one-time purchase with no subscription. You pay once and immediately receive the files by email. Payment is secured via Stripe (credit card).
A commercial license is included in the price. You can use the data in your commercial applications, websites, and client projects without restriction. The only limitation is that you cannot resell the raw data as a standalone product.
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through our secure payment partner Stripe. For bank transfer payments (businesses), please contact us.
Yes, an invoice is automatically generated and sent by email after each purchase. If you need specific information on the invoice (VAT, order number...), please contact us.
